i have a galaxy 66v that will not power up.When you change out the D93 reverse diode it just blows when you hook it back to power. Have changed voltage regulator, and inspected for a short on the board... |

i had a tristar 240 that the + & - was REVERSED from the standard connectors. you sure somebody didn't hook it up backwards before, & reverse it on the inside of the radio by mistake? did you check the on/off switch and its wiring? |

check c194 and c195. they will sometimes short out with reverse polarity. also, instead of eating fuses, ohm the power jack checking to make sure the + and - are not continous. |
