pat...please dont say "i told you so" anywho., i think the driver in my 200 gtl is cooked, it is the RD16HHF1 30W RF device. I thought it was the finals, but heres why i changed my mind. If i understand the working's of this radio right, on low power the RD16HHF1 is engaged and acts as the final(now output what so ever on low). NOW When i put it on high power,(this im assuming is with the HF50-12F's engaged)i gat about 2 watts pep on AM...no key, all audio. And about 10 Watts on SSB. it seems that the HF50-12F's are fine but the driver fet is cooked, what are y'alls thoughts on the matter. It really cuz yesturday i was talking about selling it and buying an S9, but i cant very well sell a broken radio now can I.(i think it heard me and did this on purpose) |

if cobra values its customers as much as magnum & even YUK galaxy, i'm sure they won't even notice the 11 meter mod |
