melaka as a base unit is an excellent choice for a non technical radio. delta force is to me a little easier to break. for example turn the channel knob on a galaxy base or melaka and youll feel a quality knob a little still falls into place nice, as a magnum might skip channels when you turn it cause the teethon the knob are closer and it feels cheap when you turn it. easier to work on a melaka then a magnum. only downfall of melaka is no frequency counter. but theres always an add on one to buy!! hey good luck . |

Thanks, A friend of mine dosent like galaxy and he says that he sees alot go in the shop because of cracked boards and he thinks the delta force is better. uhhh. I dont really see how unless u want more channels. and I think the magnum is a nice radio but I dont want one and I think they are cheap too. \ I just wanted an opinion, thanks honkytonkman593 |

hey no problem just remember galaxys are easier to work if there is ever a problem, on then a surface mount technology of the magnum . most "techs" would rather work on a galaxy then computer controled radios. oh technically the melaka isnt a galaxy but it is the same technology as it even though it says it. youll like it i like mine. good luck. |
