How do you adjust it. I think someone on this site designed it. Do you adjust at coil or by raising or lowering top part of antenna?

The aluminum element length adjusts the reactance, the coil lead adjusts the resistance. The two are somewhat interactive.

That is an EXCELLENT antenna. I wish I had one still. I offered a guy $100 for his, but he didn't sell because he didn't want to go to the trouble of taking it down. RATS!

Coil load length. Is that 7/8 the mesurement of were windings start on coil? SWR is 1.8. Like to make alittle better. Top stinger is 65 inches.

Top element should be 66 inches from the nut. The 7/8 inch measurement is how much of the coil wire should stick out the bottom of the clamp piece.

Dont know were you could see a pic of one. It looks like a a99 but the top part is aluminum and it has 3 small radials angled down about 2/3s up the antenna with a small coil at the bottom.
