Ok, first off Pat, stay outta my post...well you can look, but no "galaxy" comments...ok? I've got the 48T drug out again. On my external wattmeter I see the radio key up. I also see it key up on the scope. However the radios meter shows nothing. When you view the carrier on the scope, when you speak or whistle you see nothing. No modulation at all. The recieve audio seems distort, kinda off freq and the talk back audio seems kinda low. The radio is transmitting on the correct freq, dead on. I've checked the driver/final, Q55 and Q54. The radio had been super modded before I got it, and I removed that, but nothing changed. Anyone got a clue as to what it is?

BC...I thougth you had disappeared... It's not my radio, it is a friends. I didn't think that he'd flipped a switch, so I didn't bother looking. I assumed it was an internal issue. Then after checking everything I knew, I happened to look on the front of the radio. I didn't put that little face in my post, but that is cool. Thanks to whoever did that! |
