I would put it right at the antenna feed ( radio end of coax after amp ) so you could show power out and swr at the amp output. |

output from radio to input of amp..... output from amp to input on meter... hook up antenna to the output of the meter... remember to always use jumpers in 3 foot increments.3 foot, 6 foot etc... After you have this all hooked up, with the linear turned off your swr's should be 1.3 or lower or you may blow a pill. Once you find your swr reading, remember it... When you turn the amp on recalibrate your swr meter.... The swr's will read HIGHER, but it is a false reading.... When you talk and swing, the swr needle should swing down back to the original swr reading I told you to remember |

Danta, Are you talking about the internal swr meter? Its best to avoid those and use external meters.Internals are know to be inacurate. Since it is there I do like to compare the 2 reading but usually the external shows lower. |
