I WAS GIVEN A D104 MIKE BY A FRIEND, BUT IT ONLY HAD A 2 LEAD CORD. WHEN I OPENED THE BASE THE BOTTOM THERE WAS NO AMP CIRCUT. DOSE ANYONE KNOW IF THERE IS ANY PLACE TO BUY THIS PART? |

The D-104 you have is very old and was made like that. I personally would leave it the way it is , put it up on a shelf for people to look at. The way it is, it's worth quite a bit to the right collector. Carl CEF-357 |

Hey Kid:You know I'm not really sure what type of element it is but I might just be willing to try any of them depending on the price I might need them both...but I think this a ceramic element though |

check mouser electronics. they have a website. do a search on their site for microphone elements. there is a company called "kobitone" and they sell mic elements through mouser. there will be a small section called, "crystal and ceramic elements." the price on each one is less than five bucks, so order them all if you want. just check the impedence of the mic you have and get the closest element to the one you have. i think the 9K or the 12K crystal type is the best replacement for the D104 elements. later, matt |
