Well the electrician comes tomorrow to put in the new circuit breaker for the radio station - It will be the ONLY thing on this breaker and runs through a UPS System to prevent any brown out or spikes. Got the email that the Antenna (Maco V-5000) shipped today from Copper - Hopefully it will get here Friday so I can have it up for Sunday. Think I will notice a difference between it and the Solarcon A-99 (the A-99 does not have the ground plane) ??? Hopefully the KLV-1000 will make it back this week as well. Sure hope it all gets here in working order, I get it installed and my FIRST CEF CONTACT will be made...... I really, Really, REALLY hope this will all help things out and let my base unit talk and receive. Tim CEF-634 |

You certainly get the "most dedicated" award for a first station build! |

brush up on your spanish & jamaican dialect, mon, & you should be GOOD! not neccessarily nite & day, but you should see LESS noise on the maco, as well as be able to hear farther & be heard farther away |
