Well with the help of Tech833 & Tech808 I think I have the Polyphasers installed in such a manner that will work well or as it should anyway. Since we can not post pictures here I added them to my Members Pictures Thread at the end: Try this link to see the pictures and set up. PLEASE let me know if I need to change something. The link should bring you straight to the Polyphaser part of the Thread so you do not have to scroll down through all the earlier stuff. Sinker's Polyphaser Install Tim CEF-634 |

tim, that looks beautiful! im jealous of that ground strap! make sure you dont have any sharp bends in the coax where it enters that box. the coax should come out of the box for about a foot until you have to gradually bend it. also, make sure that all your ground rods are pounded down into the earth about 6 inches below the surface. dig a little hole around it so you can mount your ground wires. i like the pics too. i think that memobox is a recorder so you can record someones audio and play it back to them. (or find a way to be a big jerk with it as some have done!)LOL keep up the good work! matt |

I un-hooked that memobox as it just seemed like a toy more than anything else and one to be annoying at that which just isn't me. Hmmmm, wonder who told me where I could get that ground strap from heheehe - it cost more per foot than the LMR-400 - YIKES. Did not realize the ground rods needed to be driven down below ground level - Thanks. They go in tomorrow - well they are there but I have to pound them down into the earth. Had the two Polyphasers when I thought I would have the Top One and the Maco V-5000. Now I am thinking the Maco-5000 and maybe a god DX Beam Antenna down the road a bit as cash is short now. Also got the tri-pod up on the roof with the 5' section of mast, will add the guy rope tomorrow and then when the Maco V-5000 comes in will mount it to the 10' Mast section, put it onto the 5' section and do the guy ropes to it as well. Should only have to take it down for the Hurricanes and will gain some height as well from what I have now. Still need a base mic. I got the SuperStar D-542 but just don't like the feel of it. Seriously looking at the Galaxy Base Mic like the old Echo Master. Wonder how long till the copperelectronics.compression Desk mic comes out and if it will have echo to it. Would kind of like to see more about it but everyone is being tight lipped - No Pics, No Specs, No Release Date and No Price Info. Tim CEF-634 |

A good quality mic is a good quality mic and I don't need a bunch of toys, BUT - you keep saying PLENTY / LOTS of FEATURES so I am anxious to see what these features will be. I think ya like teasing us - got that carrot in front of my nose and I'm trying to get it - heheehe.... Sounds like this mic is not coming anytime soon so will start looking for something in the mean time. |

Sinker, I have seen and held the mic in question.Believe me when I tell you it will be worth the wait! Seen your pics and good job on your install. The ground rods dont need to be below grade to be fully functional.it eliminates the hazard of being hit by mowing equiptment or tripping over them. tech291 cef#291 kc8zpj

Sinker, As Soon as I finish the Testing I will give the Forummaster the Information and the 1st Batch will be Built and Shipped to Copper Electronics. I would guess somewhere around the 1st or Middle Part of November Copper Electronics will have them on hand. Sorry but there is NO Teasing involved. Lon Tech808 CEF808 N9OSN |
