He may want to just add a winch with a quarter mile of cable, most batteries won't power a winch that long or that big very long.Bigbob |

look at the ads in the back of the 4 wheel drive mags, high output alternators, mobile welding supplies, etc.

I have purchased a lot of these thru WRANGLER they also come with outboard voltage regulators that you can set it to your desired Voltage. They are in AZ I believe with a great staff. |

You could also try your local car stereo shop. High end installations require lots of amperage so they'll be familiar with local suppliers if they don't carry them. |

i have neverevereverneverneverever had any luck with alterstart, never, ever. in fact, as per JJD, have been sending e-mails with no response for quite some time. phone calls fare no better,'sorry, we don't have...'. there's a few shops around here...much better service-at least they respond |

Find a very helpful parts store, that has nothing better to do than look for hi output alts. I've done that at Carquest. |

I got a 120amp for my Bronco II from NAPA for $120. What they did was cross reference my original 60 amp. Then they searched the casing style and found the 120 amp. Even though it wasn't listed for my truck it was a direct bolt-in and works like a charm!. |
