I heard a guy on the radio the other day and he said that he had a 128 pill amp.
How many watts would a 128 pill amp put out?
Needless to say his signal was INCREDIBLE ! |

actually, a 128 pill davemade on 20 volts had about 12kw carrier & over 25kw swing. it did about 1/2 that at 14volts. producing the amperage to feed the truckload of batteries was the sticking point as the 32 pill driver sucked down another 350 amps. the chevy truck weighed in at over 8000lbs. fully outfitted, driver(person) not included.
needless to say, he went tubes & AC. knocked about 1000lbs off the weight. & 2 less alternators. output is MORE then transistor amp had.
like it made a difference. |
