Ok has anyone ever heard of a Magnum antenna Model number CA2130? It is a mobile antenna. I saw one in a local radio shop almost looks like a 2 or 6 meter antenna that's made by diamond. I have looked on the web but found nothing the paper work in the package stated if was a Magnum antenna by RF Limited. Just kind of curious if anyone knows anything about it, the shop wanted $70 for it no coax with it either just the antenna, it did have a PL259 end on it that would screw into a Wilson magnet mount. Any information would be great. Thanks, TomCat CEF 217 |

Tomcatinva, OK, here is the Scoop direct from Sam Lewis. RF Limited / Magnum International had 100 of the CA2130 Antennas made and imported about 7 or 8 years ago to try in the US Market. They were built like the Diamond Dual Band Ham Antennas. They never really took hold so RF Limited / Magnum International discontinued importing them. Sam was amazed that someone would still have a new one left with only 100 of them imported into the US and being 7 or 8 years old. Now you know the whole story. I also had never heard of them before but with only 100 of them being made and imported now I also know. Thank's, Lon Tech808 CEF808 N9OSN |

Hey, doesn't that make it a collector's item? If nothing else, it's rare for sure. |
