I am thinking about buying the texas star dx 350 hdv MOBLIE AMP but i want to know a few things about it first.Does it have a fan in it?and how many watts can i put into it? |

Freebird, Sorry but No fan. Texas Star Site says: 4 watts in gives 180 watts out, 20 watts in gives 350 watts out Texas Star Amplifier Specifications W90-00230 Texas Star DX 350HDV Mobile Hope this helps, Lon Tech808 CEF808 N9OSN |

I wrecked a TS350HDV driving it with a Magnum 257 on SSB. For the first few hours it worked like a charm. 350WPEP and clear and clean....I know better now. Great little amp for the right radio. Run it at around 200 PEP and it will last a long time. |

thanks for the info.one more question what type of meter is that on that amp?is that a watt meter? |

No it is just a meter with a scale to let you know how hard the amp is working. If you start pegging it your amp has probably not long to live |
