Hello everyone, I've been collecting pieces of tower and now the time has come to get it up. I hope to be up around 90 feet and have the Imax up over 100 feet. Can't wait. I had to go to 3 different hardward stores to get all the parts and supplies to put the tower together and support it. Hope the rain holds off. I guess I'll give the pine tree back to the squirrels! mikefromms |

wow! sounds like the coax could be expensive. what kind are you going to use? man, if my antenna was going up that high, i'd epoxy the sections together and give it a coat of UV resistant paint. i would not want to have to climb up there for a long time. |

RG213 is not that expensive when you buy it from Copper. Right now I have 2-110' runs of RG-213 going to the SE Quads and when the Macos go up I will replace the Coax so it is since Redman CEF #156 found nicks in both the HORZ and VERT when he was up top last saturday and I also have 125 foot of RG-213 running to the Imax now. I buy it by the 500' roll from Copper at .30 a foot. RG213 VERY REASONABLE PRICE! Lon Tech808 CEF808 N9OSN |
