Need to adjust the s-unit reading on Omega S45. Does anyone know the RV number? I'm guessing VR-1 for am and VR 2 for SSB, but I want to be sure. Thx. Mikefromms |

It's not in the mods and not on cb tricks.com. Surprised I get no answer. Mikefromms |

I asked for info on this too, but was just told it's the same as the Delta force...I kinda wanted a firm answer before I started playing. perhaps since Copper does tune ups on these they can post it in the radio info section since this radio has no pots info listed. |

I figured it out. The answer is RV-101 for am s-unit meter and RV-102 for the SSB s-unit meter reading. The trick is keeping the two meters close together, but it can be improved. Mikefromms |

Is your board labeled? I just opened mine up and none of my pots are labeled ...I'm looking for Variable Resistor Adjustment RV-116 SSB ALC RV-117 AM Carrier Low Power Adjustment RV-118 AM Carrier high Power Adjustment RV-119 AM AMC Can you tell me where these are located on the board? I can see three larger pots by the finals in the back..one in the corner- and then two just in front of the finals. I really need the SSB ALC pot rv116....can you tell me which on it is?

Or even better Mikefromms - do you have a digital camera? Could you take a pic of the board for me...I don't think the older S-45s are labeled on the boards. |
