does anyone know or has anyone here added this to a 257, if so how would you go about it and how hard is it since there is no PA speaker on this radio. thanks in advance for any info. navyrebel782003 CEF-590 Va Beach |

Navyrebel, I know a local guy who ordered a 257 from another online dealer rather than Coppers and had them install talkback. Well, that business could not figure out how to do it. Refunded him that part of the sale and sent him the radio. Within a day of testing he had problems with it (all related to the purchasing company's attempt at talkback installation, not a radio defect). Magnum took care of him fortunately but he was without a radio during that time. Radio runs like a champ now, but without talkback. I do not know if it's impossible in that radio, but it seems to stump a few out there regularly. Bottom line, be careful on who says they can get it done for you. Alsworld |
