You may want to keep the NB, I found the GNF (Galaxy noise filter) useless and the Roger beep. Those IMHO would be a more useful delete.

Kevin what Fusebreaker is about the best way just go out and buy 2 new switches just like the ones in the radio then open your radio and unscrew the ones you wanted to use tape them up and leave them in the radio put your 2 new ones in there place screw them in and set them how you want

thats how I do the Cobra 142 and the 148 no holes to drill and if for some stupid reson you want to take it out all you have to do is change the switches back and put the conversion ones on the inside like I said for some STUPID reason
ahhh but the Cobra 200GTL DX no new switches or changing switches

do you have any idea how to isolate the channel 9/19 switch.i believe it has a common wire to it and then a wire for cb and one each for 9 and 19

I dont know much about the 959 but like we had said buy new switches the exact same as the ones in your radio and just leave the old ones in all taped up so they wont short out then you shouldnt have to worry about how to isolate them just leave them in the radio set on what you want it on good luck

If it is a 2547 ALL the switches are PCB mounted AND GROUPED. so you would have to pull the switch, jump the pads and install new switches. I just took pics of the inside of the 2547 while doing an allignment, if indeed you have this radio I would be more than happy to get them to you. They are self descriptive and close up!

Another option is cutting and jumping traces then soldering onto switch pads.
