What is the most I can get out of this radio without splatter on ssb and how do I go about achieving it,I already can get a deadkey of 4 and swing to 16 on am but ssb seams anemic at 38 watts,I am running a 10-dal/tug-9 half way open,have heard as much as 50 watts should be possible but I have clean modulation at 38 and it drives my boomer400 like you would not believe,maybe I'm just bored,but I am interested.Bigbob |

Mine does 42 watts into a bird 43p. About 35 watts on an Astatic 600 meter. Sounds like you are already there, I'd leave it alone. |
