I BOUGHT A COBRA 148 GTL OFF OF EBAY,WAS TOLD IT DID NOT WORK (THIS RADIO WORKS).RECENTLY OPENED IT UP AND IT HAS WHICH I BELIEVE IS 2 FINALS MOUNTED ON THE BACK OF CASE.1 IS A 2166 AND 1 IS A 1969 ANY INFO WOULD BE GREATLT APPRECIATED,THANKS |

dont be fooled brain damage, when your CB buddies are saying "finals". they mean the driver and the final. they just dont know it. there are radios that have "dual finals". this would mean one driver and two final amplifier transistors. |

Lewis, The Cobra 148 GTL you have was made by Uniden for Dynascan Corporation, AKA,(Cobra). Same radio as the Uniden Grant XL and a few look- a-like clones. Carl CEF-357 |
