I ahve a connex 3300 that just recently started acting up it seems that after talking on it for the first 5 minutes its dead key drops down the nothing if i shut it off for a bit and turn it back on it will again talk for about 5 mins. then drop the dead key again anyone have an idea of what it could be. |

307, I always thought that transistors were like fuses in that once the transistor blew it was gone.Am I wrong in this assumption?Could the driver's bias circuit be part of the problem?Sorry for so many questions,I love this hobby!!!!!!After all these years I still have soooooooo many questions. Transistors are not like fuses. Sometimes they have trouble otherways as well as "blowing". You're problem is thermal. As the transistor heats up , it goes into thermal shutdown and as it cools the junction comes back and it works .. |
