i was wanting to put talkback in my rci 2970.i put a 100 ohm res. across the speaker and pa pos.'s but it dint work any help suggestions would apreciated. Oh b.t.w i think it was porkchop how did u change the l.e.d.s in ur rci 2970 i would like to do the same pls let me know how u did it.well i gots to go time to shoot some skip.Ark. waving a hand!

If you have a pre DX version you can remove D-78 or D-67 if it is a dx model. I would add a switch tho so it is not always on. If a dx you can increase the talkback by swapping resistors R232 & R234. Hope this helps you out. 73 |

its a pre dx vertion its the older version.now im to cut d-78 for tb Rite, iwant to be very sure on this dont want to goober it up,also is there away to get more coverage of frequencies out of it? hey porkchop you got to tell me how u changed the led in the front display in urs.all infor is super appreciated and im gone happy 4th. all |
