ive got a chance to get a browning mark 4 + a 300 or 400 watt amp ! but i also want to get the new 257 !!!!
now for about the same price tag !
mark 4 will cost me around 200 bucks ! ( only been used 2 months then boxed up )
257 new from copper ! not shure on the mod and shipping but it should be close to compare
my wife told me i could just have one of the 2 !!
:-(
i love the old mark-4's
but the new 257's look nice and small !
so witch way would you go ????
good or bad let me hear it !!!!! LOL

get the mk-IV now...nice ones are hard to find. The 257 will be around fow awhile, so you can buy it for your "next" radio. |

I would get the MARK 4 , may not find another one that condition -- then be real sweet to misses awhile & get the 257 down the road aways . |

Hmmmmmmmmm let's see, used 2 month's 15-20 year OLD browning or  257 with Factory Warranty = MAGNUM 257 
And with personally knowing the problem's you have had with radio's and the way the radio god's seem to HUNT you down and attack you so often you really do NEED that Factory Warranty.
And like I told you before if you want a Mark IV then get a One like Tech833 was thinking of doing.!

nope it all in the original boxes even the amp he has that goes with it ! + the browing power mic and a sivereagle mic !!! |

It is quite possible to come up with finds such as a Browning MK-4 put back in the box after two months. A lot of people that have money to play with do things like this.
Some people buy things like this thinking they're going to like it, try it for a month or so and bang loose interest in it. |

That old radio all the way...that thing + an 400 watt amp is worth way more...that's a great deal.
I love my magnum 257..but I'd take that other deal first....play with it for a while..sell it for a profit on ebay and then buy whatever I want.
if you make a profit pick up the S-9  Then you're laughin. |

I think it has been upgraded ! but ill check in the morning when i get everything taken out of the boxes !
Yankee ! he has things set just the way he wanted and 2 months down the road his job made him relocate to AZ now its 78 and dont want to get back into radio !
now if i can just get him to find where he has stored his MR6 i would have it made ! LOL ! |
