I want to put a radio setup in my durango, I would realy like a S9 and wilson mag mount. now what I was thinking is the center consol has plenty of room when the cd holder is removed. I`t has a 12v 20amp power plug inside there too. Now would it work to mount the S9 in there and put a plug on the wires from radio and plug it in this power plug. I guess I want to know if this setup will be powerful enough to run the S9 and is the mag mount wilson a good antenna? I dont want to drill any holes in the truck. AP |

I would not run an S-9 off of a power port. I would go straight to the battery. That should be a nice setup for you |

S9 doesn't even draw 9 amps on highest peaks. the power port will provide plenty of juice. it's just better practice to go directly to the battery. & the addition of magnum power line filter wouldn't hurt either. |

I was just thinking it would be so much less work to just plug and play over running wires and pulling up carpet, It would be conceled in the center consol too. AP |
