Someone "won" a NIB Uniden Grant XL for $267.21 plus $19.95 S&H on a popular auction site. While I'm a big fan of Uniden SSB rigs, $287.16 seems a bit extreme to me. I bought a Uniden Grant LT for $99 on closeout almost 2 years ago, and I think I remember Copper selling Uniden Grant XLs for $120 or so before they were discontinued. If people are willing to pay that kind of premium for a Uniden SSB rig, why aren't they currently making one? |

You can get them for about $100.00 less than that new if you know where to look online, though. |

Gee whiz. I have two new ones, guess I better hold onto them. I did not know their stock had gone up that much! Of course, I can get rid of them to help pay college tuition in August too. Keith |

drive if you want, keith, but with the traffic, & gas at 2.35 a gallon, the $20 will only get you from NYC to here on LI! 291, does buzzard airlines require a 'real' airport, or is my backyard ok? |
