All, My 2950 mobile died an unexpected death.. I went out to the car yesterday morning and turned it on - I got a mild hiss from the speaker but no lights, no display, no reaction from the radio if i used any of the front controls.. The volume of the hiss doesn't change with the movement of the volume controls.. Turning volume all the way off turns off the hiss. I took my 2950 base out of the house to the car, plugged it in and had no problems, so I know the power lines and antenna arent the issue.. Anything someone could point me to if this is a common problem that has been seen before? |

Already been there.. With the PA switched turn on with the WORKING radio, the display still works too.. I plugged an external speaker up to the PA plug when I read your post and keyed up - nothing came through.. |

Well, at this time I don't have the time or money to deal with trying to get it fixed, so it's going up on THE auction site as a parts/fixer-upper radio.. Should at least be able to fetch a few bucks for it.. Gonna hold only the mic though, will be the radio only up for auction.
