Hello i have a superstar 3900 gold plus main board is EPT690010c. Ok i get the beep up and runnig but feel its far to loud like to bring it down some. Can not find info for this ? Thanks AL |

al, experiment with a resistor between 10k & 100k soldered in series with the wire that goes to the 'audio' pin on the back of the mic socket. POSSIBLY a blue wire. |

I have the same radio and was told it had no "beep"? Is it disabled by the factory or did you install aftermarket? Just wondering.. If its factory disabled how might I "enable" it? I'd put a switch on it of course...Thanks and GOOD LUCK WITH YOURS! Hank '905 CEF 559 |

its a jumper j9 has been cut it is in the front of the radio on the board just put a switch on it |
