Mikefromms, try this: 10 METER FM CONVERISON: (26.065 - 29.655 MHz ) 1. Remove the covers from the radio and locate X3 (grid location E3 Main PCB). Replace X3 13.560MHz crystal to a 14.460MHz crystal. 2. Do a complete Alignment of the radio. 3. Re-Assemble the unit and check All Bands and functions for Proper operation. This will give you the following freqs. in order. Band A = 26.065 - 26.505 Band B = 26.515 - 26.955 Band C = 26.965 - 27.405 Band D = 27.415 - 27.855 Band E = 27.865 - 28.305 Band F = 28.315 - 28.755 Band G = 28.765 - 29.205 Band H = 29.215 - 29.655 This will allow coverage from: 28.000 - 29.700 and retain the CB / 11 Meter Band. This mod is in the Modification List on the left of the forum.

Thanks for responding. But I don't want to do a complete realignment. What will happen if I don't do that? Mikefromms |

What it showed me was to move (unsolder-not included in what to do instructions) a wire and move it one place up (resolder). I did see the moving a jumper pad on the 48T. Remember, I have the 95T. Thanks, Mikefromms |

All I've done is move a wire. I get cb only on all bands. Works great. I've looked at the fm conversion but can't find the x3 grid. Just some direction. Thx. mikefromms |

mike, I also have a 95t, if you have the EPT690010C board then x3 is the crystal located on the parts side just behind the knobs about 1" and just left of center, it has a small wire soldered to the top and to L20, L20 is left of a blank spot marked L17. X3 is marked on the board at the top right corner. If you look at the second crystal to the left of the echo board thats it. hope this helps. and good luck. |

Are these two diff mod's? Is it one or the other? I had mine converted from where I purchased it from and don't get near the channels as the FM mod states. Would I have to put the jumper in it's original location befor the FM mod? and where might I find that value crystal?. -Thanks |
