I know it's been asked 100 thousand times, but come on fella's. I just got one of these radios. I'm wondering what is the most power anybody has got from one of these and what they did to get it. Also what mods are available for it? And mic's? Does anyone make a noise cancelling mic that is a power mic also? The D104 for mobiles, is it a noise cancelling mic or not? Could you take an element from a 636 and put it into another power mic and then have a power noise cancelling mic? I saw a buddies mic that was a RoadKing. It has some transformer or something in it, I am sure it's something some one did to it. Anyone know anything about that? |

Yeah I posted a question about that under the mic topic. I just saw that today looking for mic mods on the net. I guess I could order one of those and try it. I don't really want it for this radio, but I figured I'd kill two birds with one stone...Thanks Sonoma |

The transformer is a matching-trans.usually used on ceramic unamplified mikes to match the input of the radio.Believe it or not but radioshacks power mike is quite good and noise canseling and 30 bucks or there abouts. |
