How is the performance of a stock 95T with just the 11 meter mod? Will it have ample modulation on am?

The modulation is pretty loud right out of the box, but you can also turn it up quite a bit yourself (VR16) is you like. I found that turning it up about 80% produced super loud, still clear audio. Out of the box, the AM modulation was turned up about 60%.

It works just great, like all other Galaxies. Until it gets a cold solder joint and you (or your tech) chase it around and around until you either give up and sell it or finally fix it only for it to happen again eventually! I love Galaxy, they design great radios, unfortunately they just don't back them up with good manufacturing. Just my opinion though, I guess it's kinda like the whole Chevy VS. Ford thing.
But if I had one of those Calvin (from Calvin and Hobbs) stickers on my truck it definitely would be urinating on a Galaxy. And believe me my S9 is "made Magnum tough!" :-)

Yeah, I have the information on the tune up. I ended up tuning my 257 myself after paying for a tune up??? Anyway, I sure can do the conversion and tune the modulation up and and this thing should rock. Certainly the factory that built it set the deadkey to fit the built in amp the work efficently. If it will put out 40 50 watts and swing up to even 100 watts I'll be pleased. I do want to remain clean but have loud audio. I'm aware that I void the warranty by going inside. But it's all too simple.

You will not void the warranty by opening the 95T. In fact, you have to go inside the radio to adjust the echo.
