ps26kx power supply blows fuse as soon as it's plugged in. any ideas, other than x-former?

replace the rectifier and the regulator transistor/IC just to be safe.

Boatman,
first disconnect the transformer to bridge connections and isolate them,then power it up.if it still blows the fuse then the transformer has an internal short in the windings.not uncommon.
If fuse survived that then the next probable would be the bridge rectifier/filter cap.third area to check then would be the regulator board and pass transistors.
