I have a friend who is asking, what are your opinions of the Magnum Delta-Force and Omega-Force radios? |

I have an Omega Force. It's a nice radio for the price. It has plenty of nice features. The modulator works as advertised. Stock, out of the box, the radio was turned down very low on the AM high power and AM modulation. The AM modulation was only turned up about 1/4 inside the radio. After turning it up to 3/4, the radio screams. People can't believe I'm talking on the stock mic, and I get nothing but excellent audio reports. The receive is very good, and the internal speaker sounds loud and clear. The new blue display is also very cool. The only negative thing I can say about it is, the various external control pots are very lose and sloppy. You can jiggle them around. They all work, but I'd prefer that they be nice and tight, and have a better quality feel to them. |

Thanks for the number. I may call them. This seems to be such a commom "problem" from what I've read. I can't figure out why they would ship these radios with such loose pots..?? |

Can't be happier with my Omega Force. When I key the mic, stock mic or other I am loud and clear. |
