Doogie619, Sorry but we have not had any of the problems you mention above. We have been using the KLV-1000 for almost 2 years now with the SE Quad Beams and the ANTTRON 305 and IMAX 2000 with NO PROBLEMS. I just called and spoke with Suzanne in Customer Service and she has no idea where your friend would get that kind of information from. You mentioned "her" in your post above and I believe that I personally followed that order and the order went out on time with no problems. On Credit card orders people need to allow time for the Credit Card order to be processed and approved by the Credit Card company that issued the card. I am not aware of any such problems as you mentioned above unless the people are having the input power adjusted too high or are driving it with too much swing (Modulated Power) as with the Magnum line of higher powered radios. We run a Texas Ranger 696F SSB Base, the Magnum 257, President HR-2510, President Lincoln, Cobra 20 XTR, Voyage VR9000, Uniden PC78, Magnum S3200B Base Radio, Teaberry Stalker Two base Radio and many other radios with ours and have NEVER had a problem. Hope this helps, Lon Tech808 CEF808 N9OSN
