What is the best amp to use with the Magnum 3200B? I do not want to turn down the radio's output to use what I have. Thanks, CEF 530 375 Northwest Indiana

Indiana375, Well, I have personally used the KL-40, KL-60, KL-300P, KL-500 (mobile amps) and the KLV-1000 with the S-3200B doing the Review. BUT! I backed the S-3200B power down to 2-1/2 to 3 watts of drive with all of them. If you do not want to back the power down I would not suggest using any of them because if your Watt meter is wrong the AMP can blow as soon as you key it if your dead key is set too high. If you back it down to 2-1/2 to 3 watts there is not one single person out there in radio land that will be able to tell the difference in performance and your amp will last much longer. Just my thoughts, Lon Tech808 CEF808 N9OSN |
