I can't find anything related to this radio! I am looking for the following. Mic wiring instruction, specifcaly a Astatic 575 hand mic. Any mod and conversion info. And finally an owners manual.

Before ya bash me about this radio it was a deal I couldn't pass up! :-)

Beantown,

Since you did not mention which Astatic 575 mic you have I am including the wiring for both.

MAGNUM 357 Factory Mic Wiring:

MICROPHONE INPUT:

Pin #1 ~ Microphone Audio
Pin #2 ~ Receive
Pin #3 ~ Transmit
Pin #4 ~ Down(Up w/22K Ohm Resistor)
Pin #5 ~ Ground
Pin #6 ~ +13.8VDC

Astatic 575M Mic Wiring:

WHITE ~ Audio
SHIELD ~ Ground
RED ~ Transmit
BLACK ~ Receive

Astatic 575M-6:

WHITE ~ Audio
SHIELD ~ Ground
RED ~ Transmit
BLACK ~ Receive
BLUE ~ Common
YELLOW ~ Audio Sw.

DO NOT USE PIN #4 when wiring the 575M mics and

MAKE SURE NOTHING TOUCHES or CAN COME INTO CONTACT WITH PIN #6 ON THE MAGNUM 357 6 PIN MIC PLUG or RADIO!

Drop me an e-mail and I will scan/copy my Magnum 357 Owners Manual and send you a copy.

Hope this helps,

Lon
