I was just wondering if you would need to upgrade alternater/battery in a automobile (93 dodge Ramcharger 318/5.2L) to run either radio? |

You should be more than fine. I could not see these radios drawing more than 15-20 amps MAX. It looks like that truck comes standard with a 75 amp alternator. http://replacement.autopartswarehouse.com/parts/autopartswarehouse/wizard.jsp?year=1993&make=DG&model=RAMC--002&category=F&part=Alternator Good luck, and have fun. no. HOWEVER, you should run it straight to the battery with some #8 or even #6 wire is nice, make sure connections are good, ground cables from everywhere and to everywhere, etc, etc, etc |
