I have a new S-9 that is replaceing my general lee. I have been running a Xforce XT-400 amp with the gen. With no problem. I installed the S-9 & Xt-400. Turn my pwr all the way to the left. Top gun is off, I keep triping my breaker. I'm not sure what size the breaker is. But i have run that set up for 3 yrs with no problem. DO i need to install a big fuse like a 150a. Is there something i'm missing ? DO i need to do anything to the S-9 to run a amp ? i mainly stay on the am channel. What is the S-9 putting out dk & swing |

If your power is turned down on your s-9 you should be just fine. You can probably put a 5watt key into that amp if you wanted to. But your amp says that it will draw 100 amps. So if your fuse is smaller than that that might be your problem. If you have a meter figure out how much your s-9 is puting out. So yeah write back tell me what fuse your using, and what gauge the wire your using for that amp. But those xforce amps are like a tank. I accidently set my stuff up wrong and was deadkeying 80 watts into their 400. I did that for a week and it still works. WOW |
