once a freq. is programmed into memory, is there a way to delete that position? Or is it only possible to overwrite it with a new frequency. Can the 9 memory slots be deleted by reset?

My experience is that you have to overwright the memory(s). If you reset the CPU, the memories should zero-out. This could be accomplished by removing the radio from the DC power source and turning the radio's power switch "on", and after some time (enough to drain the memory capacitor) turn the SW off and power-up. This will also re-set your display to the lowest band-limmmit. |
