Could someone please explain to me exactly what an RF Loop is. I heard this term the other day and I really have not idea what it is. |

The loops I'm familiar with would be direction-finding loops composed of coax tuned to resonance with a capacitor. The pattern produces nulls broadside to the loop that indicate a line along which the transmitter lies. Or, you might be thinking of frame or ferrite core loops also meant for receiving RF signals. Did that answer your question? |

You could be referring to ground loops also. You can read about such at RF Ground Systems |
