After hearing glowing reveiws on the copper forum about the magnum 257 I want to get one. The guy at the cb shop wants to wire it to the fuse box. I'm confused. I thought it should be wired directly to the battery. Any thoughts on this would be appreciated. Thanks Wendy |

Wendy, With the MAGNUM 257 I would suggest going direct to the battery or starter relay so there will no chance of overloading your fuse box. Current Consumption 6.0 amps maximum With the 257 pulling that many amps it could cause problems for you that are not needed. Just my personal suggestion, Lon Tech808 CEF808 N9OSN |
