i read on the 2000gtl group that the NTE-612 is a good alternate for a super diode. anyone "in the know", have any idea as to whether or not this will work. matt |

I have used the 611, I have tried them all from the 610-614 and that seemed to work the best on an older 148. It gave me a 13 kc slide. |

if you add a 10 uh choke then you might be able to get about 20kc bothways which is not needed. My question is why do people need so much slide? you can go anywhere between 26.810 to 28.050 with the 148 and 2000s.the more slide you have the harder it is to tune on ssb.I always thought you could not get ch 41 to 44 but it is easy to do.If you are interested look under MB8719 QUESTION. 73s |
