Sometimes I wonder if different types of noise that you hear on the radio can tell you anything about the environment of the band? Sometimes I'll hear a constants shu-shu-shu train like sound. With the needle going up and down. Other times I'll hear a fast bubbling sound going from slow low pitch to fast high pitch. On the short-wave 60m, 90m & 120m sometimes I hear what may sound like storms. On VHF, UHF digital scanners, all of the noise sounds the same. It would be really interesting if a recodering of these different sounds could be done and better explained. 73 |

thats pretty interesting! i wonder what the bay doors are for. my thoughts are; if the government built an underground facility there, then they had to bring in outside contractors and a lot of heavy equipment at some point. this is where i would start looking. |
