Should I run seperate ground wire from the antenna to my ground rods? Antenna is mounted on a pushup pole that has a ground lug from the pole to the ground rods.
Thanks,

Beantown, its not a bad idea to run a continous ground cable from the antenna base to the ground rods.a pushup pole can oxidise or rust between sections resulting in a very poor ground.

Dindin,
I thought that I should ground it. The v5/8 is working great, I now have "ears"! Man do I have ears, had to turn DOWN the RF Gain by 50%. On my old Astro Plane I had to run the RF Gain wide open. Thanks again for your reply.
See ya,
