I have a little Nissan Altima and I'm trying my best to set up a decent system in there. It's not easy with such a little car but I'm doing by best. Right now I have a Galaxy 77HML, Wilson 1000 lip mount, and Astatic D104 mic. The radio has been peaked by my tech. What do you all suggest should be my next step/upgrade? I'm assuming an amp w/pre-amp and SSB capabilites? I've been reading EVERYTHING here and there seems to be SOOO many great amps out there...i dont know whe to begin (assuming that is where i should go next...) Please help this lost newbie...

you could run a KLV 300p they small enough to mount next to or on the radio or you could go bigger.. ts 450 with a remote system in the trunk.. there is plenty of ways to do it, but it has to do with what you want to run... you could even go with a TS mod v.. those things are great.. |

Majsingh, I would suggest a Pre-Amp that will give you extra Receive power like the EP27 below. E01-00110 EP 27 ANTENNA PREAMPLIFIER $ 29.99 EP 27 ANTENNA PREAMPLIFIER Preamplifier Frequency Range: 26-30 MHz AM/FM/SSB Gain: 25 db Adjustable Power Supply: 10-15 volts DC Dimensions: 165x115x50 mm http://www.copperelectronics.com/cgi-bin/checkitout/checkitout.cgi?catalogSTORE:CKIE:prodE01-00110+ Hope this helps.
