thanks bc, i think i am asking questions about an outdated part of our already outdated hobby. the more i am finding out about these radios (not much) it seems that knight was a kit manufacturer like heathkit. so manuals are scarce. thanks for the come back! matt |

well, just so that anyone searching for info on the knight line of equip. i have obtained the operating and assembly manuals for this unit. hopefully i get mine working soon. it has an SWR meter, a watt meter, a modulation meter that reads both positive and negative peaks, a field strength meter, a xtal checker, a scope output, and audio generator, a signal generator, a dummy load, a reciever for monitoring output through headphones, and a code practice oscillator. they certainly dont make 'em like this anymore. |

I have one of these and use it frequently. It seems to work fine for what I use it for. There is no tube.I use it for alot of different types of work on my equipment and have never had any trouble with it.mine is in excellent shape.I have both the operators and assembly manual for it which you can still purchase. Kid the only thing I have had to replace on mine was one of the Xtal sockets.Other then that everything on it works great. You can get both the Operators and Assembly manual from manualman.com he is excellent to deal with and has quality manuals.I get all my manuals from him.Anyways the Ten-2 works just fine for what I use it for and for what it is.If I can help you out with it or anything else just ask and Il be glad to.Have fun.CallingCq |

What type of leads are you using.Leads were the only thing I didnt get when I got the Ten-2 so I made my own out of some multimeter leads I had laying around, works perfect. You can make up any type you want this way.Sorry for the late response.Hope it all comes together for you.CallingCq |
