can anybody recomend a book that I could read to help me learn how to tune up a radio. I know theres not a whole lot to it. RF power and modulation and making sure its on frequency. But is there a good book to read, do I need skematics on every radio. Any input would be great thanks |

To do it right you need the proper test equipment, especially for the receiver side of things (which is the most important part of any tune-up, IMO.) |

i had my radio tuned and he opemed i[ the recieve, but now whenever i go through a light it makes all kinds of noise |

i've been using screwdriver experts guide for 25 years. on at least my 3rd copy. when brainfreeze occurs, i just open it up-darn, which end is cathode, what is velocity factor of?, base-collector-emitter, have used my understanding and repairing book more times than i can remeber also.
