Whenever I get my mic near my RF power scanner meter my mic squeals real bad. Does anybody know what might cause this? I've never experienced this before. Only with this Sadelta mic. Thanks Wendy |

i dont know what cause's it. but i know with my galaxy version of the mic i had to ground the mic cause i was getting the same problem... there is the screw on the bottom of the mic right next to where you put the 9v battery, that is the grounding point for that mic, try it out see if it works.. if you have your radio grounded, just connect a wire from the mic to the radio where you have it grounded. if try to find some other way.. |

It could be a bit of RF-feedback or feedback from inductive-coupling of the mic element and the coil of the watt-meter...hope the grounding works for you. |
