I just bought a REAL New in the Box Super Scanner antenna from a friend who bought two of them back in the mid 70's. My question is this. Being limited in space for antenna towers this is what I want to do. My plan is to put the Super Scanner at the top of a 50ft. tower, then mount a Diamond X510 dualband omni above on the same mast. My question is will the two antennas being so close be a problem or are the frequencies far enough apart to work ok. Thanks for your ideas, 73 and God bless, John |

They will work as bruce said, the lower antenna almost acts like a ground to the higher vertical |

The SWR on the S.S. will be a little higher than it would be without another antenna in the middle. Your dual band antenna will work horribly unless you get the base above the S.S. elements. Best bet- side mount the dual band antenna below the S.S. |
