I have a Galaxy 44, and was wondering if anyone has or knows of any info I can get on the parts needed to do the dual final conversion? Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

Lasthighlander There is a dual final kit available for these radios but at the moment, where they can be purchased escapes me. Perhaps someone else on the forum may be more helpful. Jeff Tech548 |

Lasthighlander ..... The place that used to sell the kit got busted by the FCC. I understand you want more power out of the radio but its a lot of work for ONE HALF "S" UNIT. Get a small amp and you'll get much MORE bang for $49 bucks. |

it's not the kill, but the thrill of the chase....'i've got a dual final whatever and you don't, nah nah nah nah nah!' did it to a cobra 29 for the novelty of it, also an ORIGINAL(old!) cobra 148gtl-DX (export), but back in 1984 or whenever it was nobody knew what 'export' was so they didn't get it anyway. but it sure made my maco 200w base amp smoke! |
