Hey fellas, and ladys. I have a Magnum 257 that I am running as a base right now and was wondering if I can put a roger beep board in this radio. I have seen the ones Copper caries and thought about getting on but did not know if they will work in my radio. I was also wondering, if this board will work in this radio can the beep be turned on and off or is it going to be to where it beeps all of the time when I unkey? I also have a question about an Astatic D104 desk mic but I will put that in the Mic catagory. Thanks Excope CEF 386 |

Excope, I was wondering the same thing.. Unless I can get a solid answer though, I may just pick up an echo/roger beep mic instead of installing a board. |

Excope & 747, Yes, a roger beep can be added to this radio if you wanted to. Yes, a roger beep or any NOISE TOY can be turned off by adding a switch. Hope this helps. Lon Tech808

Thanks for the info Lon, but after reading your last reply to my last post I agree with you about the roger beep on the 257. |
