A NICE D&A PHANTOM 500..10 TUBE....IN PRETTY GOOD CLEAN PHYSICAL SHAPE..IT IS IN 100% WORKING CONDITION WITH OVER 1300 WATTS...YOU CAN GET EVEN 1500 IF YOU DRIVE IT A LITTLE HARDER..IT WILL TAKE UP TO 75 WATTS OF DRIVE. Do You think its worth $200.00?

I think $200 is a steal at twice the price. If you picked it up for that much you should be arrested. You stole that one |

I picked up my phantom 12 tuber for $50.00 100% Saw 1500 TRUE watts driven hard but only drove it that hard once (like 30 watts) most of the time I drove it with about 10 and got about a grand if I remember right, I loved it, had to get rid of it and sold it for around 350 bucks wish I hadn't BC |

A friend of mine has just bought a Phantom amp. Only problem is he is not sure how to tune and operate it. I have not used one so I dont know. It has more switches and knobs than other tube amps I have used. Other tube amps I have used just had a LOAD and TUNE control and maybe a TVI tuner on the back. Anyone have instructions for this amp? Thanks for your replies and Merry Christmas. CEF 507 John Wisconsin Unit 409 The Stargazer |

Maybe them other knobs don't do anything but make it look complicated. WildRat |

John, there were at least 3 different versions of the phantom 500,the old hammertone grey, the two-tone brown and the phantom 500 cw transmitter(also 2-tone brown).I'm pretty sure all were triple stage, having 3 sets of tune &load knobs.CB Tricks have most of the D&A instructions posted on their site. tech291 CEF#291 KC8ZPJ |
